Camp Achievements

After my camp experience at Weka Point I know that I can now:
  • Push my self further

I achieved these goals:   please copy and paste from your list…. NOW explain how you achieved them.

Not to say I wish - I didn't give up as easy as I could have done. Like on the mud slide I went down and my back slammed the water and it stung like crazy and it felt super tight. But just before I went to sit down I remembered that I didn't want to go on saying I wish I had and I jumped back up and continued.

Not to give up till its over - With orientering I keep going trying to keep my energy up and remember that I can sleep later on and to use all my energy now. I put my effort into each puzzle suggesting and trying different things.

I feel great  about Weka Point now because I had a go on everything and even strived for another turn at times.

I used GOTAR when I went with a speedy team for orienteering all of my friends are good runners and always compete well in cross country so I was a bit nervous. I told them that if they didn't want me incase I was to slow but they said to stay with them so I did  and I was happy I did so. It ended up that I want lagging behind and I managed to keep up with all of the so that was a risk. Running with the fast kids.

Some points that could be improved at camp are
The food. I was so looking forward to going home and having a nice delicious dinner. It definitely made me more grateful for the delicious food a home. But that was just the dinner. Breakfast was delicious and it was similar to what I had at home  so that was good. My favorite meal was lunch. It was delicious and if they replaced dinner with lunch and then had something different for lunch it would be great. My favorite meal would have to be the scrummy raps.

The best thing about camp was the mudslide because that was the most enjoyable thing. It didn't have any instructions and you didn't have to wait a million hours for a go. There was one rule feet first and that was it. You didnt have to faff around for ages you just sprint up the hill slide down the slide then repeat.
